The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has officially announced the next round of the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF). Applications open on 17th March 2026 and close at midday on 28th April 2026.

We’re pleased to confirm that a wide range of JFC Agri products qualify for funding under the Animal Health and Welfare section, including items for sheep, pigs, cattle and calves.

Sheep

• FETF282SH – Lockable Feed Bins
   Eligible JFC products: Half Ton Feed Bin (CMB1), 750kg Feed Bin (CMB04), 750kg Easy Empty Feed Bin (CMB05)
• FETF304SH – Water Troughs
   Eligible JFC products: 30gal Double Reservoir Easy Access Trough (DT30FF), 18gal Double Reservoir Mountable Trough (DT80M)

• FETF303SH – Covered Outdoor Lambing Pen - Eligible: Large Single Hutch (CH110)

Pigs

• FETF282PI – Lockable Feed Bins - Eligible JFC products: Half Ton Feed Bin (CMB1), 750kg Feed Bin (CMB04), 750kg Easy Empty Feed Bin (CMB05)

Cattle/Calves

• FETF94 – Automatic calf feeder with washing facility - Eligible: Evolution S2 and S4.
• FETF95 – Additional feed station - Eligible: Evolution feed stall.
• FETF227A – Hanging ball toy or calves - Eligible: JFC Playball (chain needs to be purchased separately)
• FETF228A – Calf Jackets - Eligible: All three sizes of JFC’s waterproof, breathable calf jackets.
• FETF230A – Calf Accommodation Pair - Eligible: Group Hutch (CH230-D) with penning and teat feeder
• FETF231A – Calf Accommodation Group - Eligible: Super Hutch (CH300-D) with penning and teat feeder
• FETF282CA – Lockable Feed Bins - Eligible JFC products: Half Ton Feed Bin (CMB1), 750kg Feed Bin (CMB04), 750kg Easy Empty Feed Bin (CMB05)
